The human body is part of nature, and is a microcosm of the universe. When it runs perfectly as it was designed to do, it can be perfectly healthy and capable of amazing abilities and endurance.

Everything (including us) is designed to be in perfect balance and all part of a larger balance of our planet,  solar system and galaxy. When one part is out of balance, everything else is naturally out of balance. Nothing about this balance is a coincidence or a mistake... or a mystery for that matter.

For example, the earth is 70-75 percent water and 30-25 percent solid mass. Likewise, the human body is made up of 70-75 percent water and 30-25 percent matter. We are made up of more water than anything else and for this matter it is important to know the importance of drinking water for optimum health.

Earthly bodies also require earthly and organic elements to function naturally. The same organic elements, minerals and compounds found on earth, are found and needed within our bodies.

The human body is a "machine" that has increasingly complex levels of organization progressing from cells, to tissues, to organs, to organ systems, and finally to the organism. The body’s organ systems work together to maintain a constant internal environment called "homeostasis".

The body is complex, yet simple. The complexity of it results in the lack of understanding and its nature, while it’s simplicity is in the availability of simple and natural solutions that allow it to get back to its natural order.

Start respecting and remembering the value of your body today. Stop and think for a second about how magnificent the workings of your body truly are.
It is a beautifully created, perfectly and delicately balanced, self-healing organism. Without you even having to think about it, and despite all the demands you make of it, your body produces billions of new cells every second, makes you hear, allows you to feel, see, smell, and taste, regulates your temperature, operates an incredibly powerful super-computer called your brain, and yet most of us take this miracle completely for GRANTED! Worst of all still, we abuse it!

Know this: you ALWAYS end up paying the price (or reaping the rewards) for your life choices. HONOR your body. RESPECT it. Your body is your VESSEL OF LIFE.
To ignore your body is to reject LIFE!

According to Dr. Robert O. Young, an American Naturopath, Microbiologist, Nutritionist and author of many books on the Alkaline Diet, asserts that health depends primarily on proper balance between an alkaline and acid environment in the human body.

According to this theory, when the blood becomes too acidic, the body will take whatever action necessary to regulate the acid-alkaline balance of the blood.

Dr. Robert O. Young's 'New Biology', most simply stated is that the over-acidification of the body is the single underlying cause of all disease.

In contrast, the old biology, based on the work of Louis Pasteur in the late 1800s, stems from the idea that disease comes from germs which invade the body from the outside. Dr. Young has found that when the body is in healthy alkaline balance, germs are unable to get a foothold.

Your blood being your "river of life", brings oxygen and nutrients to every cell in your body. It MUST remain at a pH of 7.36-7.4 in order to be able to continue doing so. You see, it is your red blood cells that carry the oxygen through your body, and the outside of each blood cell has a negative (-) electrical charge.

pH (potential of hydrogen) is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. It is measured on a scale of 0 to 14—the lower the pH the more acidic the solution, the higher the pH the more alkaline (or base) the solution.

When a solution is neither acid nor alkaline it has a pH of 7 which is neutral.

A healthy pH of 7.36 - 7.5 is desirable. When healthy, the pH of  our blood is 7.4, the pH of spinal fluid is 7.4, and the pH of saliva is 7.4. The pH of saliva parallels the extra-cellular fluid. pH test of saliva represents the most consistent and most definitive physical sign of the ionic calcium deficiency syndrome. It is scientifically documented that up to 150 diseases are related to calcium deficiency caused by over-acidity.

This is why doctors check your pH at the hospital, either to test your urine, blood tests or saliva so as to gauge how acidic or alkaline your body is or simply, how sick you are.

It is important to understand that we are not talking about stomach acid or the pH of the stomach here. We are talking about the pH of ALL body's fluids and tissues which ...contd...
