Holistic Living Enthusiast, Artist, Student of Life and a Love Bubble!

Miriam Lulu Chemmoss has been a holistic health enthusiast since her childhood in East-Africa, (Kenya & Tanzania)- where she was born and raised. Although she was brought up in the urban cities, she was raised on fresh-farmed food from her father's large-scale farm on the slopes of Mt. Elgon in Kenya.

Even though her father was a senior military officer in the Kenya Army, he was very much in tune with holistic living; gravitating only towards various forms of alternative medicine such as Traditional African herbal cures and Ayurveda (Indian traditional medicine). Hospital visits were very rare for Lulu's family, occurring only during serious surgeries or dental check-ups.

When Lulu came to the US to college,  14 years ago, she found herself in a new culture and a new lifestyle that would pull her in, but unfortunately also, prompt her to go against everything she had known, especially her wellness habits.

In 2001, after graduating from college and after experiencing a few life-changing events such as the death of her father in Kenya, Lulu returned to the US determined to change her life for the better and to embark on a journey that would forever shape her outlook and lifestyle.

In early September of 2001, she made a very spontaneous, but easy decision, to become Vegetarian (Vegan) and to live as holistically as she possibly could. To say that this decision would change her life for the better is an understatement. In a few months, Lulu saw her body, mind and spirit transform in ways that intrigued her so much, that she embarked on a private research, alongside her creative endeavors.

In 2008, after a hectic 4-year run in New York City, lots of traveling, work-related stress and a budding music and acting career, Lulu could barely maintain her 'pure' lifestyle as she had so easily managed in previous years. In the midst of stress and 'the rat-race', she struggled against numerous addictions such as coffee, nicotine as well as the peer pressure of routine social drinking. Gradually, she noticed that she was losing her 'life force' and 'glow' that had been effortless to achieve when she first became Vegan in 2001.

By mid 2008, Lulu had had enough. Bordering physical, emotional and mental exhaustion, (and possibly health repercussions) she made some difficult decisions in order to return to the truth that she so craved for...by rebooting her system and going back to basics...detox, nutrition, hydration, exercise, rest. In the process, she found out that she was not alone on her journey and joined the ever growing holistic/alternative health movement/community all over the world (via the net). This movement, thanks to the information age, is changing lives as well as the future of the planet.

Almost 11 years later, what she initially thought was simply a lifestyle switch turned into an exciting adventure as she began to unravel the connection between nutrition and overall well being.

Today, Lulu is celebrating vibrant, holistic health that is far better than anything she had ever imagined when she first started in 2001. She has not only transformed her own life, but also the lives of hundreds of people by sharing her research-very simple, common-sense, health-enhancing practices with everyone she comes into contact with. Her expertise is: Detoxing/Cleansing with raw foods and fresh juices for optimal health.

As more and more people started seeking her out for advice on how to change their lives with detox as she had successfully done, Lulu decided to create this website from scratch to inspire anyone looking to make that jump to a fulfilling life. All it takes is a simple choice that starts with taking better care of self, those around us, the environment and eventually the entire planet. She delights in assisting people achieve their goals and feels deeply honored to be doing this work.

Lulu believes it's never too late for anyone to return to the natural state of being.
